As a contribution to the freediving community, following also relevant requests and additionally as a testament to our high priority of safety matters, Alexander Sarasitis of TRYGONS is happy to share the most recent drawings of a specialized electric winch, used to set up freediving events in seconds. Compared to similar systems, it uses no counterweight, it is faster, more compact and can be deployed much easier. Click here to download the files and you may see the system in use in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oUIhMTXge8&t=48s (1:15-2:17min approximately).
Please note that the system is intentioned exclusively for equipment lifting (weights, camera, rope, etc.) and not humans, as this could be life-threatening – please use responsibly and safely!

TRYGONS, a proud supplier of the Energy Observer, first vessel powered by renewables and hydrogen on a world tour, was present at the ecological catamaran’s recent stopover in Athens, at the Flisvos Marina. The Greek company has donated its 100% carbon fiber vessel, that had achieved a low fuel consumption record in 2013 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jBBFjJmZwk&t=140s), as a dinghy.
